Throughout the year, the Washington Talking Book & Braille Library hosts events for patrons and interested parties. All events are open to the public and tours are always available before or after events. Also listed are events at which WTBBL will host a table or present information.

||Come read, play, dance, sing, and explore your senses at WTBBL's Multisensory Storytime every Friday at 11:30 AM! All children ages 0-5 and their caregivers are welcome to attend. ||Families and their young children who are blind or visually impaired are invited to attend "PIP" Playgroups each 2nd Monday of the month at 11 AM. Playgroups are presented by King County B-3 Vision Services and will have activities to explore learning without vision. For more information, contact (206) 615-1253.

||WTBBL will be tabling at the Seattle Public Schools Vision Services Family Resource Event. Families will have the opportunity to learn about programs available for students of all ages with visual impairments and their families. Join us from 6:30 - 9:00 PM at Lowell Elementary School!

||Join us for the 2017 Washington Braille Challenge on Saturday, February 18 from 9 AM - 4 PM. The Braille Challenge is an academic competition for students in grades 1-12 that encourages braille literacy in a fun and competitive environment. For more information, contact (206) 615-1253.
