Recommended Reads are the Washington Talking Book & Braille Library's monthly series of themed books that can be found in our collection. Gathered by the Adult Services Librarian, you will find a themed list of books each month on our homepage (www.wtbbl.org) and on our Facebook page: http://www.facebook.com/WTBBL. Each list will feature titles that can be found in a number of formats (braille, audio and large print) and includes links to the downloadable braille and audio book files where available.
July, 2013 - Music: U. S. Grant said he only knew two songs—one was Yankee Doodle and the other one wasn’t. That makes me feel sorry for the man since there is so much great music. The fact that it comes in a wide variety lets a person pick and choose what they like. This month’s Recommended Reads tries to capture different kinds of music and the people who play it.
